LAHORE - Anti-Terrorism court Saturday allowed publication of an advertisement in media and pasting of proclamation at the residence of Pakistan Awam-i-Tehreek Dr Tahirul Qadri and nine other suspects for their alleged involvement in attacking police party in Deepalpur city of District Okara.
An Investigation Officer appeared in the courtroom and said neither the suspects were made part of the investigation nor got arrested. The officer sought advertisement in media and pasting of proclamation at the residences of the suspects as final notice. Allowing the request, the judge directed the police to submit report by May 10 and adjourned further proceedings.
Earlier, the court had issued a number of notices to the accused but they never responded.
Dr Tahirul Qadri was accused of making a ‘provocative speech’ in Deeplapur and in a case of attack on police party lodged by Deepalpur City police.
