Three well-dressed armed men, misrepresenting themselves as Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) officials, looted gold ornaments and cash worth Rs1 million from a house during in broad daylight in Mughalpura locality of Daska on Sunday. The three men with their female accomplice forced their entry into the house of trader Mirza Irfan Mughal, saying that they had come to their Muhallah on a special mission on the orders of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. –Staff Reporter

They asked the family to collect their precious things, gold ornaments and other valuables and put them at one place, as they wanted to conduct the complete search of the house. As the women took out their gold ornaments, weighing 20 tolas, the accused held them at gunpoint and fled away after looting. Daska City police have registered a case, with no clue or arrest.
