Governor Ebad opens cardiac centres

KARACHI - Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has said that all the credit for the development in Karachi and interior Sindh during last few years goes to the leader of the MQM Altaf Hussain who always motivated us towards impartial service of humanity. Development works carried out in Karachi during last four years were in fact like serving whole Pakistan and we felt proud on that. City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal and his team deserved praise for their extraordinary work in all the parts of the city. He expressed these views while addressing a public meeting in Landhi Town on Tuesday. Earlier the Governor along with City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal inspected recently completed phase-II of Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases at F.B Area and inaugurated four projects in Shah Faisal and Landhi Town including establishment of 100 bed cardiac emergency centers in Shah Faisal and Landhi Town and 50 bed maternity home and a mortuary in Landhi Town completed by city government with a cost of Rs1billion. Governor of Sindh said that he is satisfied that the city government has set up the best example of public service by providing emergency health care facility near to their homes. He also congratulated the people of Landhi and Shah Faisal Town and said that the development works have changed the map of these areas and brought in pleasure on the faces of the residents. Speaking on this occasion City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal said that there would be no U turn in the journey of development in Karachi. Haq Parast leadership will carry on this journey despite of all odds. He said that the first five to ten minutes are considered most important for heart patients. They need immediate medical aid and cannot afford long wait. In past Karachi had only one Cardiac Care and treatment facility but now we have established four Cardiac Emergency Centers in different areas of city which are providing the facility of open heart surgery, angioplasty and angiography in cheap rates.
