RAWALPINDI Special Judge Syed Akhlaq Ahmed Shah accepted the bail plea of PML-N MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan in a fraud case here on Thursday. The judge granted bail to PML-N MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan in the fraud case against the submission of surety bonds worth Rs 0.2 million. During the court proceedings, the PML-N stalwart did not appear before the court owing to bad health conditions; however, his co-accused former director housing Laiq Ahmed Khan was present in the court. The court extended interim bail of PML-N MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan till September 7, 2011 in National Police Foundation (NPF) land scam. Shbahat Ali, the complainant of the fraud case registered with FIA against Anjum Aqeel, also presented the settlement deal between him and Aqeel before the court. After reviewing the agreement, the court accepted the bail plea of Aqeel and four other accused in the case.
