ISLAMABAD - Expressing his full confidence in the leadership of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday slammed doors on his emerging political rival former Deputy Speaker National Assembly Haji Nawaz Khokhar to join the PML-N through backdoor efforts. The sources privy to the crucial meeting held between Nawaz Sharif and Ch. Nisar Ali Khan said that all the misunderstandings created between the two as result of Haji Nawaz Khokhars contacts with Nawaz Sharif through intermediaries have been removed. Sources said that Nawaz Sharif made it clear that there was nobody who could be replacement of Ch. Nisar Ali Khan upon which Nisar immediately responded by congratulating Nawaz Sharif on his election as President of the party. Sources were of the view that Ch. Nisar Khan has returned from his private UK visit and got annoyed soon after Haji Nawaz Khokhar launched efforts to join the PML-N in the absence of Ch. Nisar AIi Khan.
