ISLAMABAD (APP) - Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Thursday allocated the portfolios of Professional and Technical Training and Human Resource Development to Ministers of State Sardar Shahjehan Yousaf and Sheikh Waqas Akram, respectively. The Prime Minister allocated the portfolios to the Minister of States with immediate effect in terms of rule 3(4) of the Rules of Business, 1973, according to notification issued by the Cabinet Division here on Thursday. Meanwhile, according to another notification issued by the Cabinet Division here Thursday, the Prime Minister has conferred the status of Minister of State to Secretary General to the President, M Salman Faruqui, Honorary Chairperson, Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Ms Farzana Raja and Chairman, Board of Investment (BoI), Saleem H Mandviwala. The Prime Minister conferred the status of Minister of State to above mentioned dignitaries, in exercise of the powers conferred by rule 15(1)(g) read with serial No 1A of Schedule-VA to the Rules of Business, 1973, the notification said.
