ISLAMABAD - In another major political development, the PML (Like-Minded) Group headed by Senator Salim Saifullah Khan and PML-N Thursday agreed on making a political alliance. According to informed sources, an important meeting of the joint committee of the PML-Ns four-member team headed by Ishaq Dar and PML (Like-Minded) Group was held at the residence of Salim Saifullah. According to the sources, both the parties had agreed on making a political alliance within and outside the Parliament. The sources said that the meeting decided that despite the alliance both the parties will retain their separate identity but would evolve a joint course of action in Parliament over the important issues. It was also agreed that both the parties while keeping their separate identities would make seats adjustment during the next elections. The sources said the meeting also discussed issues relating to economy, establishment of new provinces and law and order situation. From PML-N side, Senator Ishaq Dar, Sarjat Aziz, Mehtab Abbasi, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and from PML-Q Senator Salim Saifullah, Humayun Akhtar and Ghafar Qureshi took part in the meeting.
