QUETTA - Law enforcement agencies Thursday rounded up more than 30 suspects in the provincial capital during a search operation in different areas including Killi Kabir in connection with the killing of three police personnel. Unidentified armed men had shot dead three police personnel in Killi Kabir area on Wednesday night and fled from the scene. Sources said Frontier Corps, police and personnel of Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) took part in the search drive which was carried out in different areas including Killi Kabir and Killi Ismail. The personnel of law enforcement agencies, during house-to-house search, apprehended more than 30 suspects for interrogation purpose. Those who will not be found guilty of any crime, will be released soon after investigation is completed, a police official said adding, weapons were also seized from some suspects during the search drive. Balochsitan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani had taken strict notice of the killing of police officials and directed the authorities concerned to apprehend immediately the responsible of that act.
