Roof collapse: Its now Batapurs turn

OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE Two people including a girl were injured when the roof of a dilapidated house caved in at Batapur here on Thursday. On information, Rescue 1122 staff reached the spot and pulled the victims out of the debris. The injured were identified as Muhammad Boota (70) and Iman (2). After some time, Ayyub became infuriated and thrashed his father with iron rod. As a result, he sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police reached the spot and removed the body to city morgue for autopsy. Police concerned said that police have arrested the accused Ayyub after registering an FIR on the complaint of deceaseds another son Mohammad Yousaf. Further investigations are underway. road mishap: Three persons received injuries when a recklessly driven car hit a motorbike near Muslim Town Underpass on Thursday. The two bike riders were identified as Shahzad and Zaki Shah, residents of Nazimabad and car owner Haris. They were passing near New Muslim Town Underpass when a car bearing number (LRV-76) hit their bike (LEP-3679). Resultantly the car and motorbike collided with a tree along side. They received injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital where Zaki Shahs condition was stated to be critical.
