3 killed as LI attacks peace body men

KHYBER AGENCY – Three armed persons were killed in a clash between defunct Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) and Aka Khel peace lashkar in Aka Khel area of tehsil Bara, sub-division of Khyber, sources said on Saturday.
They said that the volunteers of LI attacked the centre of peace lashkar in Abdul Khwar, Aka Khel, last evening. They said fierce fighting continued for hours and three persons - one person from LI and two gunmen of peace lashker - were killed in the gun battle, sources said. The identification of the deceased could not be ascertained.
Meanwhile, a Nato trailer was attacked with planted remote control explosive device in Wazer Dand area of tehsil Jamrud; a driver got injured. The political administration and local sources said that last morning the Nato supply trailer bearing registration No.KBL 22437 was hit by road side planted bomb slightly injured its driver, Abdullah an Afghan national.
Winds screen of the vehicles were also smashed and partially damage was done to it, sources said. It is worth mentioning here that it was the   third incident in Jamrud after the resumption of the supply that Nato supply vehicle has been targeted. Prior two drivers have been killed in the attacks.
