NOWSHERA - A local leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) along with his nephew was gunned down by unidentified attackers in Bara Banda area on Saturday.
Identified as Mir Bahadur Khan and his nephew Nazakat Khan, the victims were heading towards Risalpur, when their vehicle was ambushed by the gunmen in Bara Banda locality.
They both died on the spot. The bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police have launched a search operation to arrest the attackers.
