The sources claimed that the performance of FIA had been declining since Waqar Haider took charge as FIA Punjab zone director 18 months ago allegedly as a reward of facilitating Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi’s son Moonis Elahi during his detention in the NICL scam.
A senior FIA official said the director had no interest in the affairs of the agency due to which the performance was declining day by day.
