ISLAMABAD - Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) here on Friday in his report submitted to the Ministry of Interior has said that all the Hindu Yatris who left Pakistan for India during last few days had only gone there to visit their religious places and ruled out the possibility of their permanent settlement there.
The report dispelled the impression being given by the some media reports that mass migration of some Hindu families was going on from Sindh to India.
The report that was submitted before the Interior Minister Rehman Malik during a meeting held at the Ministry of Interior says that these Hindus in their affidavits given to the government voluntarily for getting no objection certificate (NOC) had claimed that they were visiting India for a short period of time.
Secretary Interior, Additional Secretary Interior, Director General FIA, Inspector General of Police Islamabad and other senior officers of the ministry attended the meeting under the chair of Interior Minister Rehman Malik.
Earlier, Interior Minister had directed DG FIA to submit his fact-finding report to verify the media reports that mass migration of Hindu families was going on from Sindh and Balochistan due to insecurity and maltreatment being given to them by the other segments of the society there.
The meeting noted with great concern that a private TV channel initiated a story based on merely speculations, which created hype at local and international level.
The DG FIA, however, in his report has said that there were some reports about the involvement of some travelling agents in pursuing Hindu families for seeking asylum in India and this aspect of the case was also being investigated.
The meeting was informed that all the Hindu travelling to India were dealt with full honour and dignity and were permitted to leave for India as per their previous schedule. 
The Interior Minister directed DG FIA to keep a watch on those quarters that are spreading these rumours and if the agency would spot any case where some kind of injustice had been done with the Hindus that should be dealt severely. The minister was also informed that a cell had been established in FIA where all the victims of any kind of injustice from the Hindus could inform the agency about any kind of such incident.
The chair directed the Director General of the FIA to assist the committee recently constituted by the President of Pakistan to look into the entire issue and address complaints of Hindu community in Sindh. He also stressed that all rights of Hindu community should be protected fully and no one would be allowed to over step the Constitution of Pakistan, which provided full rights to minorities for practicing their religion.
Rehman Malik also directed DG FIA to look into the complaints whereby impression of forced marriages of teen-age girls had been noticed. He has asked DG FIA to compile the details of all such incidents and asked a report on each such incident where there is allegation of any forced marriage. The meeting decided that the report of DG FIA on the forced marriages would be made public for public scrutiny.
