KARACHI - A three members government team comprising Federal Minister Moula Bux Chandio along with Senator Hari Ram Kishori Lal and MNA Dr Lal Chand is proceeding to Sukkur tomorrow morning on the special directives of President Asif Ali Zardari.
According to Federal Minister , the team during its visit will meet the Hindu community leaders to inquire about their problems.
On Aug 12, they will visit Jacobabad and meet members of Hindu community of the Jacobabad and later submit a report relating to the issues of minority to the President.
Baqai Varsity to organise Quaid-i-Azam National Conference in December: The Baqai Medical University will organize the Quaid-i-Azam National Conference towards the end of December this year.
An official said here on Saturday that the meeting of the organizing committee in this regard would be convened after Eidul Fitr.
He further stated that in connection with the Independence Day celebrations, the flag hoisting ceremony would be held in front of the Administration Block of the Baqai Medical University.
Legislation is task of elected representatives: Aijaz Durrani: The carrying out of legislation is the task of the elected representatives.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Bilawal House, Aijaz Durrani.
In a statement issued here on Thursday, he said that role of legislation has to be performed by the elected representatives.
Aijaz Durrani maintained that ‘conspiracies against the elected representatives should be stopped’. He was of the view that in the past the constitution was distorted under what he termed doctrine of necessity. However, Aijaz Durrani went on, the people would no longer tolerate this.
