Nine persons including two brothers, a woman and her son were killed in separate incidents in different areas over the past 24 hours.

In Sialkot two brothers - 14-year-old Faizan and 12-year-old Arsalan drowned in Nullah Bassanter near Chak Amro-Shakargarh on Tuesday. They were taking a bath when slipped into deep water and drowned. The Rescue 1122 personnel fished out the dead bodies.

In Gujranwala, a woman and her son died after a van hit their motorcycle here on Tuesday.

Police said that a speeding van hit the motorcycle, carrying the woman and her son near at Farid Town Chowk, killing both of them on the spot. n Rahim Yar Khan, a youngster was crushed when a tractor-trolley overturned here on Tuesday.

The police said that due to speeding, the tractor-trolley overturned on Tranda Sawey Khan Road.

As result, the youth was crushed the trolley.

In Gojra, a man died after a speeding tractor-trolley hit his motorcycle.

Police said that the accident took place on Mochiwala Road in Gojra where a recklessly-driven tractor-trolley knocked down a motorcycle, killing the rider on the spot.

In Muzaffarabad, two persons died when a passenger jeep fell into a gorge here on Tuesday.

Police said that a passenger jeep skidded off the road due to speeding in Kahorri area of Nasirabad and plunged into a deep gorge.

Resultantly two persons died whose bodies were pulled out from the ravine by locals.

In Kasur, the branch manager of ZTBKL was killed in a head-on collision between a jeep and a coaster in Iqbal Nagar Bhallo area, some 4-km away from here.

Kasur branch ZTBL manager Mohammad Ashraf along with his wife was going from Lahore to Kasur in a jeep.

When they reached Iqbal Nagar Bhallo, a coaster coming from opposite direction, rammed into the jeep, killing Mohammad Ashraf on the spot. His wife and nine passengers of the coach suffered multiple injuries and were rushed to General Hospital Lahore.
