QUETTA - Two people including a policeman were killed and five others injured when a roadside bomb exploded at Gawalmandi Chowk of Quetta on Tuesday.

According to police, the incident took place when a bomb planted along the roadside went off at Gawalmandi Chowk.

Rescue sources said the injured were rushed to Civil Hospital where emergency had been declared.

The law enforcement agencies reached the site of the incident and put the security cordon.

4 BODIES FOUND FROM QALI PAIND: At least four bodies, including 2 women, were found from Qali Paind in Quetta Tuesday.

According to rescue sources, the deceased were killed with gunshots within the jurisdiction of Airport Police Station.

The bodies were first spotted by a guard, on which police personnel and rescue teams rushed to the site.

The deceased were shifted to Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Two women and two men were among the victims.

According to doctors, the deceased were aged between 25 and 30 years, and were identified as Malik Asif Kasi, Khan Muhammad, Palwisha and Saleha.

According to initial report, there are torture marks on their bodies. A police team garnered clues from the site and questioned local people about the bodies. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
