Burewala - A private college of Burewala has made the national flag which is also the world’s biggest.

Like other parts of the country, preparations for celebration of Independence Day are at its peak in Burewala too. In this regard, municipal committee of the city will also hold different ceremonies. The students of a private college and municipal committee of the city has collectively made this biggest flag of the world. It measures 37,000 square feet while 4500 meter cloth has been used for this flag. Ten people completed this flag in six months.

The flag will be displayed at a ceremony in Quaid-i-Azam Stadium on Monday (tomorrow) at 8:00 am. Garrison Commander Jawad Zaka, DCO Vehari Irfan Ali Kathiyawar, DPO Vehari Ahamd Nasir Aziz Virk, Assistant Commissioner Borewala Azeem Rabbani, SDPO Borewala Khizar Zaman, journalists and students will attend the ceremony in big number.
