LAHORE - Lahore Ravi were 108 for two after forced to follow-on against KRL and needed 65 more runs to save innings defeat on the second day of the three-day of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Cricket Tournament against KRL here at the LCCA ground on Saturday. Earlier, Lahore Ravi were bundled out for a meagre total of 75 runs in their first innings while replying to KRLs first innings total 247. Earlier, KRL resumed their innings on overnight total of 240 for eight wickets and were all out for 247, in 92.5 overs. Ali Naqvi (59), Ali Khan (85), Akhtar Ayub (23) made good contributions. For Lahore Ravi, Shabbir Ahmed claimed five wickets for 75 runs while Asif Raza grabbed two for 84. In reply, Lahore Ravi were bundled out for 75 runs in 31.3 over. Zeeshan Ali 22, Asif Ashfaq 28 were the only players to enter the double figures. For KRL, Yasir Arafat (4-24), M Imran (3-25) and Rahat Ali (3-21) bowled well. In another match played here at Sports Stadium, Sargodha, Lahore Shalimar scored 150 for two wickets in 41 overs. Earlier, State Bank posted a huge total of 553 in 119.3 overs with Kashif Siddique scoring 49, Faisal Athar 69, Afsar Nawaz 80, Naveed Yasin 131, Afsar Nawaz 80. In reply, Lahore Shalimar scored 150 for two in 41 overs with Hamza Paracha scoring 68 runs and Asif Khan 49.
