LAHORE (PR) - Punjab Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif leading the delegation of Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) called on Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al-Nahyan, Minister for Higher Education and Scientific Research of UAE at his palace in Abu Dhabi. Shahbaz led a 100-CEO delegation to the UAE to promote investment and trade between the two countries. As Pakistans second largest trade and investment partner, the UAE enjoys a special relationship with Pakistan. He thanked his host for his hospitality and said that the UAE and particularly Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al-Nahyan, has always shown support for Pakistan in 'thick and thin and this support translates into concrete investment in Pakistan. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al-Nahyan is also the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Group which is the owner of Alfalah Bank, Warid Telecom, Wateen Telecom and part of UBL. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak said that the close ties between Pakistan and UAE are unparalleled and 'when someone hurts Pakistan they hurt us. He said that he wishes Pakistan prosperity and look forward to see it grow as a strong player in the comity of nations.
