Bearish LSE loses 57.39 points

LAHORE - Bearish trend prevailed in Lahore Stock Exchange for second consecutive day on Tuesday as it shed 57.39 points, following the LSE-25 index opened with 4150.76 and closed at 4093.37 points.  The market’s overall situation also did not correspond to an  upward trend as it remained at 3.258 million shares to close against previous turnover of 3.846 million shares, showing a downward slide of 587,500 shares. While, out of the total 103 active scrips 10 moved up, 40 shed values and 53 remined equal.
   Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, Habib Bank Limited and Hira Textile Mills Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 3.42, Rs 1.06 and Re 0.99 respectively.
   Engro Corporation Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited and Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited lost their per share value by Rs 2.99, Rs 1.40 and Re 0.85 respectively.
   The Volume Leader of the day included PACE Pakistan Limited with 1.030 million shares, Fauji Cement Company Limited with 555,500 shares and Silk Bank Limited (Saudi) with 190,000 shares.
