Civil judge fired for corruption

MINCHINABAD - The Lahore High Court Chief Justice terminated the services of Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate terminated on charge of corruption.
Civil Judge Naeem Ahmad was terminated under Section 10 of the Punjab Civil Servants Act, 1974.
Advocate Ch Muhammad Ishfaq Gujjar told The Nation that he submitted an application against the civil judge for his corrupt practices.
 He claimed that he also managed a meeting with Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry along with a delegation of the District Bar Association Bahawalpur led by its Vice President Owaisur Rehman Khan to raise the issue. The Tehsil Bar Association Minchin has expressed gratitude to District and Sessions Sardar Tahar Sabir, the LHC Chief Justice, SC Registrar Ch Faqir Husain and CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Ch for fulfilling the demands of justice and upholding the supremacy of law.
