Meanwhile, Sindh Law Minister Ayaz Soomro has said that the ‘big brother’ (Punjab) must keep in mind that three provinces have opposed the construction of Kalabagh Dam and in this scenario it cannot be built.

He stated this while talking to media persons after meeting with the newly elected office bearers of Sindh High Court Bar Association (SHCBA) here on Tuesday.

Earlier, Ayaz Soomro also handed over a cheque of Rs10,00,000 to the Bar president Mustafa Lakhani. He termed the interaction with the lawyers and new liberal team of the SHCBA office-bearers as a nice experience for him.

He said that the KBD was a conspiracy to render Sindh barren and it could only be built on the bodies of the Sindhis. He further said that we could go to the Council of Common Interests on the KBD issue.

To a question, Soomro said that holding by-polls on six vacant seats of Sindh assembly was the prerogative of the Election Commission.
