KARACHI - Oxford University Press has launched two books dealing with social change and urban planning and development issues.
Both books titled: ‘From Micro-finance to the Building of Local Institutions’, and ‘Migration and Small Towns in Pakistan’ have been written by Arif Hasan and Mansoor Raza. The launching ceremony was held at the NED University of Engineering and Technology where students, faculty members, architects, and urban development professionals participated.
Oxford University Press Pakistan MD Ameena Saiyid said that ‘From Micro-finance to the Building of Local Institutions’ was an important work, especially in the context of widespread poverty in Pakistan.
