ISLAMABAD  - Secretary Islamabad Transport Authority in their operation against transporters have impounded six vehicles and issued challan of 38 bus drivers for various violations. 
On the special direction of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Amir Ali Ahmad secretary Transport authority Khawja Maqbool Mustafa launched operation and while checking impounded six vehicles for non-completion of routes and for violating the traffic law.
Meanwhile, at least 38 bus drivers were fined of over RS 43200 for non-completion of routes, not having permits and for receiving inflated fares in I-9, Karachi Company and Pirwadhai. 
The transport authority also directed to transporters to complete their routes otherwise strict action would be taken against them.
