ISLAMABAD : Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and PPP leader Khursheed Shah was elected as Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Wednesday. Two days ago, Khursheed Shah, who is also a central leader of PPP, became member of the committee, a powerful body which examines the spending of national exchequer to ensure transparency and accountability. Khursheed Shah has replaced PML-N's Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan who was PAC chief in the previous Assembly.
