LPG cylinders store gutted

A big warehouse of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders in Bhimbher city reduced to ashes after it suddenly caught fire on Tuesday, police said.
The LPG cylinders store, owned by one Ghulam Qadir, son of Muhammad Rafique, located in busiest business centre of Bhimbher city, caught fire during decanting, Duty officer Bhimbher City Police told. The sky-touching flames engulfed the entire warehouse reducing it to skeleton as the stored cylinders also caught fire instantly. A car (MPR/AJK-934), parked near the store, also completely burnt after it o caught fire, the police officer said.
Rescue 1122, Municipal Fire brigade and the police rushed to the scene and rescued the adjoining property. No loss of life was reported in the incident.
The Bhimbher City Police have registered a case against the owner for illegal decanting. When contacted, Deputy Commissioner Bhimbher Muhammad Tayyeb told this scribe that the store owner had been booked for carrying illegal practice in residential area.
