LAHORE - PTI Punjab president Ijaz Chaudhary has claimed that all the exit and entry points of the provincial capital will be blocked on December 15 with the cooperation of all segments of the society.
Addressing a press conference at a local hotel after chairing a the meeting with party leaders on Thursday, Ijaz Ch said that traders, working class, students, lawyers and even educational institutions had pledged their support to the PTI. “While more people of the City would be appealed to join us on the day of protest,” he added.
He was accompanied by Dr Yasmin Rashid, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Shafqat Mehmood, Saloni Bokhari, Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed, Bushra Khalid Hayat Bhatti and Barrister Mansoor Sarwar. “PTI would never press anyone to protest but the traders of Lahore would be standing behind Imran Khan on December 15,” he continued.
Commenting over the resumption of talks with government, he said that protests and dialogue would continue side by side till a result-oriented development surfaced.
