All set for Eid Miladun Nabi today

DG KHAN/HAFIZABAD/GUJRANWALA-All arrangements have been finalised to celebrate the birth anniversary of the holy Prophet (SAWW) in a befitting manner.
In DG Khan, the report of a survey conducted by this correspondent reveals that mosques, bazaars, and private buildings across the district have been decorated with colourful lights, banners and buntings. A large number of stalls, selling banners, badges, stickers and flags inscribed with the slogans, paying respect and reverence to the Holy Prophet (SAWW) have been established across the district.
The official sources said that a total of 45 processions will be taken out from different parts of the district, besides 18 great Milad ceremonies. The Central Milad Committee (CMC) and different other organisations have been engaged in organising Milad ceremonies and processions throughout the district. According to the CMC, the committee will take out the central procession from Jamia Masjid Block 3 in Monday morning. Similarly, other small rallies and processions of Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran, Pakistan Sunni Tehreek and Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan (Norani Group), will join the central procession. Local residents and shopkeepers will welcome the participants of the main procession and serve them special feasts. They will also shower rose petals and rose water upon them.
On the other hand, the district administration has directed the Tehsil Municipal Administrations of DG Khan, Kot Chutta and Taunsa Towns to clear the route of processions of Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) before December 12. The district police have also been prodded into action to ensure peace during celebrations.
In Gujranwala, arrangements have been finalised to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) with religious zeal and zest in district on Monday. Dozens of processions will be taken out and other programmes will be held in various areas to pay respect to Last Prophet Muhammad (SAWW). Mosques, government and private buildings have been illuminated with colourful lights to celebrate the birthday of the Holy Prophet (SAWW). Main procession of the day will be appeared from Sheranwala Bagh, which after marching through fixed routes, will end at Milad Mustafa Chowk.
Meanwhile, arrangements have been completed to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) in a befitting manner. Divisional Commissioner Muhammad Asif and DCO Muhammad Amir Jaan have appealed to Ulema and Mashaikh to forge unity among their ranks and preach tolerance, peace and harmony. Security has been stepped up and security personnel would be deployed along the procession routes to ensure peace and order.
In Hafizabad, brisk preparations are afoot to give bridle look to the city to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (SAWW) on Monday. All the city roads and thoroughfares are being decorated with beautiful arches, buntings and images of Masjid-e-Nabvi (SAWW), Khana Ka’aba and Roza-e-Rasool (SAWW). All the public and private buildings are being illuminated during the nights.
Big processions would be taken out from different Madaris and Masajid and the participants would parade the city thoroughfares by reciting Kalma-e-Tayyaba and Darood-o-Salam.
A Seeratun Nabi Conference would be held in Masjid Al-Farooq where prominent speakers including Barrister Wasimul Hassan Naqvi and others would address the gathering.
Different religious and social organisations are arranging free cooked food, milk and tea for the believers. The District Police have deployed hundreds of cops to maintain peace across the district.
