LAHORE-Pakistan Army and Islamabad Jinns registered impressive victories in the 4th Servis Tyres 15-a-side Rugby League matches played here at Pakistan Rugby Academy ground on Sunday.

In the first match of the day, Army crushed Lahore Rugby Football Club (LRC) 72-0. Army dominated both the halves and didn’t allow their opponents to score a single point. Imran was top scorer from the winning side with four tries, while Irfan scored two and Waqas, Amjum, Nasir and Khalid contributed with one try each.  In the second match of the day, Islamabad Jinns proved too strong for week Lahore Hawks and thrashed them 62-3. With this victory, they also strengthened their number one position in the league points table. Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) patron Lt Gen (R) M Ashraf Saleem graced the event as chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners. PRU president Fawzi Khawaja, secretary Arif Saeed, IRA secretary Salman Sheikh, PRA secretary Salman Wain and others were also present on the occasion.
