KARACHI - Adviser to Chief Minister of Sindh on Information Maula Bux Chandio has said that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari always feels for masses.

This he said while speaking as a chief guest at a programme held in connection with the newly rehabilitated Pakistan Chowk.

MPA Sharmila Faruqui was also present on the occasion.

Chandio, while praising Sharmila, said that the credit for the completion of Pakistan Chowk project went to her because she had funded it from her own pocket.

The adviser to CM further said that Khuja Rafiqui was a nice person, and he had never stated anything against him. “He is a political worker, but this is also a truth that since he is a leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), he is compelled to defend the Sharif family in Panama leaks scandal,” he added.

Chandio added that Panama leaks case would continue to haunt the PML-N leadership. “This is a mega corruption case that has been highlighted at the international,” he observed.

In a reply to a journalist’s question, he put a question to Sharif brothers that when they were calling them (PPP) corrupt since Zia’s regime, why were they on the run today?

He further said that everybody knew how much unrest was there in Punjab, including Lahore. “How women are treated in Punjab, the whole nation knows that. Only one area is being developed at the expense of entire Punjab,” Chandio said, and added, “Even clean drinking water is not available in Islamabad.”

Adviser to the CM pleaded to the audience not to mention the name of Abid Sher Ali, because he had been recruited only to shout at PTI.

In an apparent reference to PTI, he said that nobody alone could bring change. “Whenever you do this, you will fail,” he noted.

Chandio said that he was a resident of Sindh and Hyderabad was his beloved city, and he will try his best to beautify it.
