Students, workers taught traffic laws

SADIQABAD-The National Highways and Motorways Police (NHMP) conduct round the clock patrolling on highways to ensure implementation of traffic laws and respond to any mishap.
Speakers stated at a seminar titled “Road Safety” held here the other day. The factory workers and a large number of students from different schools attended the seminar.
NHMP SP Abdul Khalil said that the department is making all-out efforts to ensure strict implementation of traffic laws which is necessary to keep people safe from accidents.
DSP Muhammad Humayun said that motorcyclists should place side mirrors at motorbikes, adding that parents should never let their underage children ride motorbikes.
Operational Officer Zahoorul Hassan said the NHMP officials are at public service 24 hours and seven days a week, adding that the public should also cooperate with the police in eradicating law violations.
On the occasion, Pakistan Life Care Foundation chairman Mian Sharif showered the NHMP officials with praise for teaching the public traffic laws through different seminars and workshops.
Later, the PLCF distributed helmets to students and factory workers.
