This is apropos of the letter 'Women as taxi drivers? (Feb 7) appeared in a section of press. In a number of Asian countries, women drive taxis, buses and rickshaws, besides performing other such jobs. In Pakistan, it is not so, because men here have a serious attitude problem. For example, I have seen in these countries that during rush hours women travel in trains packed with passengers, and on buses there are no separate seats for women. But still, no one dares tease a woman. Here a woman cannot think of sitting next to a man on the bus. MOHAMMAD KHAN SIAL, Karachi, February 10.
