LAHORE - Managing Director Punjab Education Foundation Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani has said the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) will launch Skills Development Programme for the Matric students in the Districts of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Lodhran and Muzaffargarh in the first phase. This program is aimed to train the Matric level students about different beneficial technical and vocational skills. He said while presiding over a departmental meeting at his office on Friday. CEO Punjab Skills Development Fund Company Ali Sarfraz, Ms Sarah Saeed, PEF-DMD (Ops) Tanvir Ahmad Zaffar, PEF-Project Officer (Donor Relations) Samreen Sajjad and other Officers also attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed the project of imparting technical & vocational skills to the students to improve their economic future in their later life. PEF MD maintained that school girls, in the Southern Region of the province, could be trained as school teachers by imparting them necessary English language competency. UVAS photographer wins gold medal: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) photographer has won gold medal for his picture in The 71st International Photographic Salon of Japan (The Asahi Shimbun). UVAS photographer Basharat Ali Khan constantly won Japan salon photography competition last three years. The title of the picture Driver of Troubles was being awarded out of 8,630 works from 40 countries across the globe.
