South Punjab Rugby starts from 12th

LAHORE - The Punjab Rugby Association is organising the Quaid-e-Azam South Punjab Rugby Championship in Muzafargarh from Feb 12 to 13. District Rugby Association Muzafargarh and Punjab Rugby Association is co hosting the event and the Pakistan Rugby Association is providing referees and technical officials. As many as eight district teams will take part in the tournament in which two teams are form Muzafargarh and a team each from Multan, Vheari, Lodhran, Bukkhar, Khaniwal and Kot Addu. It will be the biggest tournament ever held in South Punjab. President Punjab Rugby Association president Lt Gen Ashraf Ch said: "It is heart full to see so many teams participating in the south zone championship especially since most of the area was badly affected by the flood and I hope this type of activity will help in bringing positive outlook for the population."
