LAHORE The parties constituting Tehreek Namoos-e-Risalat Mahaz on Friday decided to keep intact the body, though ending future protest programmes and deciding to observe February 18 (Friday) as Thanksgiving Day to celebrate success of the movement. Briefing newsmen after meeting of heads and representatives of political, religious and religio-political parties constituting TNRM here at Mansoora on Friday, Convener TNRM Sahibzada Abu-al Khair Muhammad Zubair said that the movement has achieved success but the alliance would keep intact only to take up religious issues in future. Leaders and representatives of constituting parties including Ameer Jamaat-i-Islami Syed Munnawar Hasan, Ameer Jamaat Ahle Hadith Senator Sajid Mir, Ameer Jamat-ud-Dawa Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, Allama Sajid Naqvi, Ejazul Haq, Maulana Amjad Khan, Liaquat Baloch, Ch Zaheer-ud-Din and other participated in the meeting. Sahibzada Abu al-Khair Muhammad Zubair said that Thanksgiving Day would be observed to thank the Almighty Allah and celebrate success of the tehreek. He said that as all the demands of TNRM were fulfilled so the protest programme scheduled for coming Friday has been cancelled. During Friday prayers, he said that Ulema and khatibs would give special sermons on life and Seerat of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and would thank Almighty Allah for the success of movement for protecting Blasphemy Law.
