KARACHI - PTI Chairman Imran Khan has said the corruption is the biggest problem plaguing the country.
Talking to the media on his arrival at Karachi Airport Saturday, Khan said the rulers were responsible for rampant corruption in the country. He urged the public to forge unity against the corrupt rulers.
Referring to Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s contempt of court issue, the PTI chief reiterated his party’s support to the judiciary. “The government is staging a drama to cover the theft of one person, Asif Ali Zardari,” he said, adding that billions of rupees were looted from the country. About the ISI’s alleged involvement in funding political parties to defeat the PPP, he said the case was already in the Supreme Court and everyone knew who took money from the ISI in elections. Khan said his party leadership was visiting Balochistan to highlight Balochs’ woes.
About his party’s momentum, he said the PTI tsunami was intentionally slowed down so that the party could be organised.
