The Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that Pakistan is in the grip of multifaceted crises and sincere efforts and prayers are needed to save Pakistan. Addressing the Mehfil-e-Milaad-e-Mustafa (SAW) here in London, Altaf Hussain prayed that may Almighty Allah bless Pakistan. He said that keeping in view the spiritual importance and holiness of the gathering he would not speak about politics.  Altaf Hussain said that people do not have time to practice Islamic teachings today which was major hurdle in resolution of issues. He argued that it was vital for Muslim Ummah to follow Islamic teachings and guidelines to get rid of prevailing situation. The MQM chief said that Allah showers blessings upon those who arrange or attend gatherings of Zikr-e-Mustafa (SAW). He also prayed Almighty Allah might save Pakistan from the menace of terrorism.
