LAHORE – The UK base organization Help The Needy Charitable Trust will organize free eye camps in the four provinces and Azad Kashmir with the collaboration of Al Mustafa Welfare Society. Some 500 cataract surgeries would be operated during these camps. This was stated by Sami Uddin, Project Officer Asia during the visit of free eye camp held at Salamatpura GT Road on Saturday.

Sami Uddin said that Help The Needy was also constructing a housing project at Kot Sabzal in Sanjarpur near Sadiqabad. He said a piece of land consist on 27 acre has been acquired where 200 houses, a medical clinic, a mosque and a market would be constructed. He said eye camp project would be completed with the collaboration of Al Mustafa Welfare Society.

Moreover some 400 patients were being treated and 40 cataract surgeries operated at free eye camp held at Salamatpura, a suburb area in provincial metropolis. Free medicines, glasses, food and other facilities were also being provided to the patients on the occasion.
