LAHORE: Punjab University Department of Electrical Engineering Assistant Professors Dr Kamran Abid and Dr Muhammad Azhar Naeem participated in international conference entitled “SPIE OPTO Photonics West” in the Moscone Centre, San Francisco, California, United States. Dr Kamran Abid presented his paper in the Silicon Photonics symposium on Detectors the title of presentation was “Tuneable high-responsivity lateral silicon p-i-n photodiodes with single, dual MOS gate and grating structures” while Dr. Muhammad Azhar Naeem presented in Integrated Optics: Devices, Materials, and Technologies and the title of his presentation was “A polarization modulation in monolithically-integrated devices at 300 mbps”.–Staff Reporter
