ISLAMABAD (PR): In line with its commitment to encourage the youth to utilize latest technologies and make a positive contribution to the society, Telenor Pakistan, in collaboration with Idara-e-Taleem-o-Agahi (ITA), organized an interactive session at Islamabad Model School for Boys, G-6, Islamabad under the theme ‘Internet for All – Connecting Responsibly’. Around 300 students participated in the program, which was organized as part of Telenor’s ‘Internet for All’ initiative.
During the event, interactive activities on understanding the benefits of internet were conducted through animated videos, songs and fun quizzes, whereas topics on privacy issues and securing oneself on internet were also explored. The event also featured Saad Hamid and Awais Imran - Pakistani participants of the Telenor Youth Summit which was held in Oslo, Norway in December 2013, who inspired students with an account of their successful journey spear-headed by the use of internet.
