ISLAMABAD: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad said today that no ban has been announced on Valentine celebrations, in the capital city.

He was addressing a press conference in Islamabad.

According to the details, DC Islamabad said that they will not allow any immoral activities and legal action will be taken against such activities, but there is no ban on the celebrations of the Valentine day .

“90% of Sheesha bars have been closed after we took action against them. The operation against petrol pumps, medical stores and quacks will also continue”, said DC Islamabad.

 Punjab Assembly is filled with ‘love’ three days ahead of Valentine’s Day, sources reported.

According to details, the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker Mian Tahir Jamil expressed his ‘love’ for the Deputy Speaker Sher Ali Gorchani by presenting him a flower.

The Deputy Speaker was taken by surprise by this act but smiled when Jamil wished him Valentine’s Day.

Mian Tahir said that Assembly will not be in session on February 14 because it falls on Sunday which is why he expressed his ‘love’ by presenting the flower today.
