300 illegal power connections removed

KANDHKOT - The Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) Kandhkot team launched a crackdown against defaulters, power thieves as well as illegal connections. The team claimed to have removed more than 300 illegal connections.

According to details, Kandhkot subdivision team led by SDO Aftab Ahmed Khoso launched the crackdown on the power thieves. According to Line Superintendent Rasheed Ahmed Shah, a team along with local police raided various localities of Kandhkot subdivisions and removed more than 300 illegal connections during a crackdown launched on the power thieves, while arrested four defaulters.

Upon a question, Rasheed replied operation against defaulters would continue till hundred percent recovery. He also said that two transformers had been confiscated. After operation SDO Kandhkot arranged a meeting with the staff in which he warned them that if any employee found involves in theft of electricity, he would be punished.
