LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujat Hussain has decided to tour Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan to activate his party in these provinces.

Shujat expressed these views during a meeting with local representatives and young councillors of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from Haripur Hazara who joined the the PML. Those who joined the PML on this occasion were Nazim Muhammad Idrees, Naib Nazim Rashed Chaudhry, Muhammad Asad, Idrees Ali, Naveed Ali, Nadeem Khan, Khalid Chaudhry, Hafeez Anwar, Chaudhry Shakeel and Seth Naveed.

Senator Kamil Ali Agha, Mian Munir and Bilal Mustafa Shirazi were also present.

Welcoming the new members into the party fold, Shujat said that Punjab had seen ideal progress during tenure of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi as chief minister. Many public welfare projects were completed during that time, he said. He stressed the need to make the party active and strong in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan and issued orders to party representative Malik Jamil to reorganize the party.
