RAWALPINDI -Pakistan Muslim League-N will launch a protest rally against Israeli aggression on Palestine today (Monday) at Benazir Bhutto Road at 12 p.m. The rally would be led by the Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly and Senior Federal Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and expected to be attended by PML-N workers and people belonging to different walks of life, PML-N city spokesman informed here on Sunday. Meanwhile, City Traffic Police have also announced traffic diversion plan to avoid any mess on this occasion. In this regard, SSP and City Traffic Officer (CTO) Raja Riffat Mukhtar told TheNation that Benazir Bhutto Road would remain close for all kinds of traffic from Rialto Chowk to Chandni Chowk till the conclusion of the protest rally. He said that the traffic, coming from Mareer Chowk would be converted from Rialto Chowk to Rawal Road whereas the motorists would use the routes of Kamran Market to Kashmir Road and Gawalmandi to Liaquat Road. SSP and CTO Raja Riffat Mukhtar has appealed the citizens as well as vehicle owners to cooperate traffic wardens in this regard.
