Army took the control of Hangu city on Monday, sources said. Unknown persons have set ablaze two markets in district Hangu as ceasefire has not been implemented. According to sources, the clashes that broke out between two rival groups on Muharram 11 still continued in the area. Commissioner Kohat division Umer Khan Afridi last night announced the ceasefire between the rivals but firing and shelling remained continued overnight in the area. Unknown persons have torched two markets after looting near rescue 15 office on Monday morning followed by the shelling from gunship helicopters in various parts of the city.
