KAMALIA: The by-election to PP-89 was conducted in a transparent manner and there was no irregularity, NA Standing Committee on Privileges Chairman Ch Asadur Rehman claimed.

Talking to the media at his residence, Ch Asad who is also the PML-N MNA declared no irregularity or clash has been reported during the by-election. "After defeat the opponents are confused and their (rivals) are in habit of crying foul after every defeat," he said. He said that people of the constituency gave mandate to the PML-N and gave a landslide victory to the PML-N candidate with lead of 20,000 votes over his rival. Ch Asad said that the PML-N government is working in the right direction, and its popularity among the masses is on the rise due to its pro-public policies. He boasted that the government under the leadership of Nawaz would lead Pakistan to progress and prosperity.–Staff Reporter
