NAWABSHAH - Former president and Pakistan People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari said on Thursday that in the next general elections, Nawaz Sharif and the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-N will be part of the opposition.
The PPP co-chairman was speaking to media in Nawabshah, where he said that the elections in Senate will take place. “Nawaz’s B-team is incapable of solving issues,” said the former president.
Zardari said that there is no prospect of a technocrats government in the Constitution.
The PPP co-chairman while referring to the turbulent Pakistan-US relations said that the new government will work for better relations between the two allies. It will be detrimental to let ties with the United States deteriorate, said the former president.
Zardari said that the Sindh government has given funds worth Rs300 million for clean drinking water in Nawabshah, adding that the party will strive to provide better education and health facilities.
NAWAZ WEARING SUICIDE JACKET, SAYS AITZAZ
Online adds: Senator Aitzaz Ahsan of PPP has said that Nawaz Sharif is wearing suicide jacket and he will destroy everything.
Speaking to media outside the Supreme Court in Islamabad on Thursday, he said that Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif and Law Minister Rana Sanuallah should answer nation about their performances as many incidents occurred in their regimes.
He said that the police have failed to safeguard people as their only duty is to protect Sharif family.
He said over 3000 police officials have been performing duties at Jati Umra, adding SP was suspended when a peacock of Sharif family was found dead. Senator Aitzaz added that the entire Punjab government is working to save sugar mills and foreign properties of Sharif family.
