PTI leader from Sargodha joins PPP

ISLAMABAD   -  Former Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf ticket holder from NA-92 Sargodha Sahibzada Pir Naeemuddin Sialvi yesterday called on Pakistan People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari here and joined the PPP. Sahibzada Naeemuddin Sialvi is the son of late Pir Naseeruddin Sialvi. He joined the PPP with a delegation. At the time of joining, President PPP Central Punjab Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and General Secretary Hassan Murtaza were also present.  On the occasion, divisional president PPP Sargodha Tasneem Qureshi, district president Nauman Mahoota, city general secretary Mian Javed Amjad and Hameed Durrani were also present. 

Meanwhile, a two-member delegation of the PPP called on lawmaker Mohsin Dawar and Chairman Organising Committee of the newly-formed National Democratic Movement.

The PPP delegation apprised Mohsin Dawar of the PPP’s plans to mount pressure on the ‘incompetent’ regime of Imran Khan and to hold it accountable for failing to address the burning issues of the common man namely inflation and unemployment and the crises in the fertilisers, gas and power sectors. 

About the pressure to be built both inside and outside the Parliament House, the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will lead a march on Islamabad from Karachi on February 27.

The PPP delegation extended formal invitation to the National Democratic Movement and Mohsin Dawar on behalf of Party Chairman to participate in the march. 

The PPP delegation comprised Secretary General PPPP Farhatullah Babar and former Deputy Speaker National Assembly and central information secretary of the party Faisal Karim Kundi.
