ISLAMABAD (APP) - The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is pressing ahead with its campaign to remove encroachments from all the markets of the Federal Capital. Stating the position of the Authority on the contents of a news item published in a section of press about encroachments that have sprung up in front of shops in various markets in the shape of temporary stalls, Assistant Director, Municipal Functions, Chaudhry Kamran Bukhat said that dramatic results could not be expected in few days, as it is a long process and would take time to be completed. He told this news agency here on Saturday that in fact the department had already started the campaign after much deliberations and removed encroachments in front of the shops located in Super Market, Blue Area, Jinnah Super Market, F-10 Markaz G-11 Markaz and other shopping areas. He apprised that in order to make their campaign more effective, the CDA was in touch with the leaders of various trade associations representing the traders of markets of Islamabad.
