PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Excise and Taxation, Liaqat Shabab, has said that Pakistan is facing numerous challenges at national and international level and it should be the responsibility of all the political leaders, representatives of civil society and youth to come forward and make strenuous efforts for the integrity and stability of the country.

He added that a positive message could be sent to the enemies of Islam and Pakistan through this platform.

He said this while addressing as a chief guest at a convention held on “Istehkam-e-Pakistan” organized by Babul Madina Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital Peshawar, which was also attended by former federal minister G.G. Jamal, SP City Asif Iqbal, representatives of civil society, teachers and students.

The provincial minister said that Pakistan had plunged into problems from early stage of its existence and whenever, it falls into trouble our entire nation gets united to steer the country out of the hot waters.

He stressed upon the youth to follow into the footsteps of their elders to put Pakistan on the path of progress and prosperity.

G.G.Jamal and SP Asif Iqabal also spoke on the occasion and underlined the need for making coordinated efforts for the stability and integrity of the country.

Later, Chief Executive of the Institution M. Amin Orakzai presented a souvenir to the minister, while principal of the institution thanked the guests as well as minister for gracing the occasion.
